On January 17, 2003, the annual Tim Wakefield Celebrity Golf Classic Dinner and Sports auction was held. Proceeds from the event went to benefit the Space Coast Early Intervention Center. The event, making its second appearance in the Clemente Center, was attended by an estimated 750 people.
