A student applying for admission to the graduate
school must have a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from an
institution of acceptable academic standing. To be considered for
admission, the student's academic and professional record must
indicate that there is high probability that the applicant will
be able to pursue graduate work satisfactorily.
Admission to doctoral study is granted to a limited
number of applicants. The successful applicant will have received
a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution
in a program that provides suitable preparation for doctoral-level
studies in the applicant's field. The academic records of the applicant
must indicate probable success in the desired program.
Applicants should complete the application form
and submit it with either a $50 (master's) or $60 (doctoral) application
fee along with the Signature Certification Form. Request that your
transcripts from all colleges or universities attended are sent
to the Graduate Admissions Office. Your should also request that
GRE or GMAT scores if applicable (see Summary of requirements in
the on-line catalog) for your program be sent directly to Graduate
Admissions.
You will need to submit the I-20 Request Form or the /IAP-66 Form (click on
Additional Online Forms) to Florida Tech, Graduate Admissions Office,
150 W. University Blvd., Melbourne , Florida 32901. Please note
that this form can be submitted at the time of application, however
an I-20 cannot be issued until you are officially accepted to Florida
Tech and all necessary financial documents have been received.
You will need to submit the required bank statement(s) and if needed
sponsorship letter. These documents should be dated within 6 months
of your planned attendance at Florida Tech.
Florida Tech is on a rolling admission basis. However, it is strongly recommended
that the following dates be followed to ensure you will be evaluated for
your requested semester of entrance:

Please note that for the Psy.D. program in Clinical
Psychology the deadline is January 15 for Fall Semester admission
only. For the Industrial/Organizational Psychology
Program the deadline is Feb 1and for for the Applied Behavioral Analysis program the deadline is March 1st forFall Semester admission only.

Tuition for graduate students is charged on a
per credit hour basis regardless of the number of credit hours

Students must waive or enroll in the university’s health insurance policy
each academic year. Student health insurance is contracted annually.
All domestic students are automatically charged
for health insurance unless a signed Enrollment/Waiver form accompanied
by proof of current coverage by another insurance carrier is presented
to the Office of Auxiliary Services by the end of the third week
of classes.
All international students are automatically charged
for the university’s student health insurance unless they
are officially sponsored by their home government or agency that
guarantees the student’s health insurance fees as part of
the contract with the university. Sponsored students will not be
charged for the university’s coverage. It is mandatory for
all other international students to be
covered by the university’s health insurance plan.

Note 1: The Audit/CEU fee is waived for full-time
undergraduate students.
Note 2: If a student presents evidence of
separate hospitalization insurance, fills out an Insurance Waiver
form and presents it to Auxiliary Services prior to the end of
the university’s 10th day of classes, this fee will be
waived. Special health insurance requirements exist for international
students. Please refer to the Office of International Student
Affairs for more information.
