1. What are the benefits of membership?

Membership in the Florida Tech Alumni Association helps you connect with fellow alumni, former classmates and friends. It helps expand your contacts, gives you the opportunity to interact with Florida Tech and offers benefits and discounts not available to the general public.

2. Will you send me a membership application?

Membership materials (letter and application) are sent to all alumni (excluding life members) each spring.

3. What is the cost of alumni membership?

There are different levels of membership:
Recent graduates are complimentary for two years
Individual Annual Membership: $25.00
Couple Annual Membership: $45.00
Individual Life Membership: $500.00 (payable in two payments of $ 250 each)
Couple Life Membership: $750.00 (payable in three payments of $ 250 each)
Friend Life Membership: $1,000 (payable in four payments of $250 each)

You can apply or renew your for membership when you receive your membership mailing by returning the enclosed application form. 5. Does my spouse have to be a graduate of Florida Tech in order for me to apply for joint membership?

Yes, however, exceptions may be made upon approval of the Alumni Association Membership Committee.

6. What does a life membership mean?

A life membership means that once your full payment has been received, you will never have to pay for alumni membership again.

7. Can I be a member if I have attended Florida Tech but did not graduate?
.
Yes, you can become a member even if you did not graduate from Florida Tech as long as you meet the Alumni Association By-Laws definition of alumni. To read the by-laws on Membership, Article III, go to http://www.fit.edu/alumni/bylaws.

Yes, we do take credit card payments from MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. You can also make payment by cash, check or money order.
