College Roll
On campus jobs include all student employment that is not funded by assistantships or Federal Work Study. When college roll positions open, they may be posted with Student Employment. An email list serve has been created to announce these positions. Any student who wishes to get the job listings via email may come to the Career Services Office (Room 210 Keuper Administration Building) to fill out a form for admission to the service. These opportunities will also be advertised on College Central Network and the JLD Job Posting Page.
Job
Location and Development (JLD) Program
The
JLD Program is a federally funded program to assist currently
enrolled students in obtaining OFF-CAMPUS part-time employment.
It is a free service to both students and employers. Available
jobs in Brevard, Orange, and Indian River counties are
posted online by the Career Services Office. After receiving
job information, students are responsible for contacting the
employer, setting up the interview if offered, and then reporting their
progress back to the Assistant Director of Career Services. All job details can be found on College Central Network.
Each day a different internship is featured on FIT Forum. If
you have not signed up for FIT Forum you may do so here. If
you are interested in any of these positions, just log onto College Central Network and use the job number provided to get contact and application information. You
can search for other major related jobs (internships) on College Central Network.
Click
on "Search for Jobs Posted to My School " to
view jobs that have been posted for Florida Tech students. These
jobs can vary and all students who are interested in off campus
employment should check this list.
