Complaint Resolution Policy - The university encourages the resolution of problems on an informal basis whenever possible.  However, when a problem cannot be resolved informally, the university provides this procedure for a formal review

Drug-Free School & Communities Act - In accordance with the provisions of the "Drug-Free Workplace Act," effective March 18, 1989, and the "Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act" effective October 1, 1990, all employees and students of the Florida Institute of Technology, as a condition for them to be engaged in employment or in the performance of any contract or grant or pursuit of a degree, must be advised of their required compliance with the Drug/Alcohol Policy of this University. 

Flower & Gift Policy - In the event of the birth or adoption of a child to an employee, the Office of Human Resources will send an appropriate, congratulatory floral arrangement to the home or hospital on behalf of "Florida Tech Faculty and Staff". In the event of the hospitalization or death of an employee or relative covered by this policy, the Office of Human Resources will send an appropriate floral arrangement or charitable contribution on behalf of "Florida Tech Faculty and Staff".

Layoff / Recall Procedure - This procedure is intended as a guide to implementation of the university's Layoff Policy.  The university reserves the right to deviate from this procedure when in the best interest of the university. 

Reinstatement Policy - Under certain conditions, individuals who have left the employ of the university are eligible for reinstatement and will receive credit for prior eligible university service as detailed by this policy. 

Performance Evaluation Form - Can be completed on line.

Performance Evaluations Instructions - One of the most important responsibilities of a supervisor is conducting formal performance evaluations of staff members.  Evaluations are useful tools for the supervisor to:  achieve desired work performance; receive ideas and input; assist employees in personal and professional development; identify and formulate plans to correct performance problems; and establish and/or clarify specific goals.
