Costs of Attendance
Since Florida Institute of Technology is a private institution, the cost of tuition is the same for both in-state and out-of-state students. The budget outlined below shows the cost of attendance for the 2008-2009 academic year for full-time undergraduate students. The Tuition charges are for the year, and cover 12-19 hours per semester.

Tuition, Room and Board Costs for
2008-2009
Approximate fees for incoming, full-time students for the 2008-2009 academic year are as follows:

*College of Aeronautics - Flight Fees

Students in the College of Aeronautics, taking flight courses, pay for flight fees on a “pay as you go” basis and are required to deposit a minimum of $2,000 on their Panther Access Card.  The actual cost of a flight lesson is deducted from the student’s Panther Access Card at the time a flight is taken.  The average annual cost for flight fees is estimated at $16,400. Per-hour Tuition Cost:
Students taking less than 12 or more than 19 semester hours of
class are charged $915 per semester hour.

INTEREST FREE MONTHLY PAYMENT PLAN

To help you meet your educational expenses, Florida Institute of Technology is pleased to offer the FACTS Plan as a
convenient budget plan.

FACTS is a tuition
management plan that provides you with a low cost
option for budgeting tuition and other educational
expenses.

It is not a loan program. You have no debt, there are no interest or finance charges assessed, and there is no credit check.

The only cost to budget
monthly payments through FACTS is a $60.00 per
semester or annual nonrefundable enrollment fee.

The enrollment fee is automatically deducted within 14 days of the agreement being posted to the FACTS system.
