A University Graphic Identity Policy is in place to ensure a consistently recognizable presentation of Florida Tech’s graphic identity in internal and external communications. Internal audiences include faculty members, staff and students who may be recipients of printed materials or who may access information hosted on the university’s Web site. External audiences include the general public, the media and any groups to whom the university needs to communicate.
The Florida Institute of Technology trademarked images, logos and wordmarks (including the words “Florida Institute of Technology” and “Florida Tech”) and the university seal must be used as outlined in the Graphic Identity Manual, which may be downloaded at: www.fit.edu/upub/identity/graphic_id_manual.pdf.
Any publication (electronic and print) that describes official university
programs and/or functions and that includes or encourages participation
by the general public or prospective students will be subject to the
policy.
Also included under this policy are signage, soft goods containing the
university wordmark and logos, and any other use where the identity of
the university is represented, whether produced internally or by an outside
vendor.
| All print or electronic communications that are funded by the university should adhere to the Graphic Identity Policy. Any questions you have should be directed to our office, which oversees the Graphic Identity Policy in conjunction with the Office for Advancement. |
