Course Offerings

I understand and agree that my registration for the Florida Tech Behavior Analysis Essentials and or CEU course does not constitute a contract or guarantee that Florida Tech will continue indefinitely to offer the course.  Each course has a fixed access period based on both the date and time of my registration, posted on the enrollment page for each course.  It is my responsibility to read and understand the access time for each course prior to registration.  Course access will expire at the same time of registration after the access period has concluded, adjusted bi-annually for Daylight Saving Time, unless otherwise modified by Florida Tech staff, in which case you will be notified via your email address on file.

Florida Tech reserves the right to change, phase out, or discontinue any course at any time. Florida Tech expressly reserves the right to: (1) add or delete courses from its offerings; or (2) revise or change rules, charges, fees, schedules, courses, and any other policy or regulation affecting enrollees whenever the same is considered to be in the best interests of Florida Tech.

The Behavior Analysis Essentials course is designed to meet the 40-hour training requirement for RBT certification. The program is offered independent of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board®.  Enrollees have 180 days from the date and time of registration to complete the course (The BACB counts the date of registration as day one; then add 179 days to calculate your end date, with the course expiring at the same time as your registration). Enrollees may not complete the training in fewer than five days. These restrictions are set by the BACB® and cannot be altered.

Florida Tech does not offer extensions on the Behavior Analysis Essentials or CEU courses.  If you need to purchase and retake a course, please contact us at ceu@fit.edu or rbt@fit.edu for assistance.
