Bio

Marian Dionne has over 30 years of software design, development, and programming experience, working for Harris Controls, E-Systems Inc., and Florida Power Corporation before starting Apogee Engineering Associates, a software consulting firm in 1985. Her firm specialized in implementing a patented data visualization technique called Graphical Interface For Intensive Care (GIFIC) used at Holmes Regional Medical Center. GIFIC was also featured in several medical journals and on a CNN Science and Technology segment hosted by former astronaut Jim Lovell.

Marian earned both her Master of Science in Computer Science and Bachelor of Science in Management Science from Florida Tech. Marian previously taught computer science classes at Eastern Florida State College. She is now happily retired.
