Bio

Christie Lynes '18 M.P.A., a seasoned business owner and community leader boasts over two decades of experience in both military and civilian realms. Renowned for her adeptness in orchestrating special events, she has extensively volunteered with school-aged children, military families, Rotary and non-profit organizations.

In her professional realm, Christie has excelled as a Market Leader at Best Version Media, an award-winning national leader in publications and digital advertising. Her expertise in talent acquisition, coaching, and community engagement ranks her among the nation's premier Market Leaders. As the Publisher at Best Version Media and Owner of Beachside Connections, LLC, Christie has significantly contributed to the Space Coast community by launching esteemed publications: Indialantic Neighbors and Beachside Living magazines. Her mission is clear: to unite communities by celebrating their unique qualities and contributing to their vitality.

Passionate about women's empowerment, Christie served as the Co-Host & Co-Event Chair for Wine Women & Shoes in both 2023 and 2024, with proceeds benefiting weVENTURE Women's Business Center at Florida Tech. Additionally, she founded the Melbourne Women Rock Networking Group, a free platform bringing together 1,300 women from diverse industries for monthly in-person meetings, drawing forty to fifty attendees. Christie was a Middle School History Teacher and Volunteer Coordinator.

A LEAD Brevard Class 2023 graduate and Rotarian, Christie remains committed to community service, actively participating in various organizations, serving on boards, and holding leadership positions, including Board of Director for The Greater Palm Bay Chamber.

Her academic achievements include a Master of Public Administration from Florida Institute of Technology and bachelor’s degrees in Secondary Education Social Studies and History from the State University of New York at Cortland.

Christie's contributions have garnered numerous awards, including Sole Proprietor of the Year 2022 by The Greater Palm Bay Chamber, Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow plus 3, Ambassador of the Quarter by The Melbourne Regional Chamber in both 2022 and 2023, Department of the Army Commander’s Award for Public Service and Shield of Sparta Heroine of the Infantry.

In her free time, Christie cherishes family moments with her husband Justin, and their teenage boys, Spencer and Treven. A passionate traveler, she immerses her family in different cultures, yet finds joy in watching her boys play Varsity sports at West Shore.
