What career or personal update would you like to give to your fellow Florida Tech Panthers alumni?
When I finished my Bachelor degree at FIT, I went to Miami to do my type rating training at Airbus Training Center and headed home to complete my actual training in Saudi Airlines between classes and actual flying on the A320 fleet. I finished my training successfully and hired to be A320 First Officer at Saudi Airlines. I am thinking know to get my masters degree in the human factor major or a management major. I look forward to be a First Officer on the wide body Airplanes either B777 or B787 at Saudia and fly further destinations and gain more hours and experience.
How did your time at Florida Tech help get you to where you are today?
Florida Tech is an appropriate environment to study and know more; the faculty members were very helpful and there were many resources and activities that helped us to expand our knowledge. Evans library was my favorite place to study for finals, it has many helpful resources and it’s facilitated very well.
What is your favorite Florida Tech memory?
Well, I have several unforgettable memories but I can choose the best 3 memories for me. 1- My first Solo flight 2- When I passed my Commercial Pilot License 3- My graduation ceremony
Was there a mentor or professor who had a big impact on you personally and/or professionally?
A lot! I don’t want to choose some and forget some, but I will try to mention what I can recall. At the college; Dr. Korhan who was my advisor helped me a lot choosing the appropriate classes and success. Also, he was a professor of the career planning course. For FIT Avation, my instructor Akash was the best instructor, he helped me a lot and gave me great advise and here I am because of him.
Please share any advice you have for current Florida Tech students.
Use FIT resources, they are very helpful and can change your college live significantly. Try always to involve in the event, groups and activities that will be an advantage after the college for you as any alumni needs some connections in and out of the campus.
