What career or personal update would you like to give to your fellow Florida Tech Panthers alumni?
My journey has been both wild and fascinating, with the only constant being the inevitability of change and evolution. Throughout this journey, I’ve continually learned more about myself by embracing diverse situations and exploring different industries. These experiences have not only shaped my personal growth but have also allowed me to contribute meaningfully to my community and beyond. I believe it’s crucial to remain open, kind, and curious—qualities that have guided me through every twist and turn of my path.
How did your time at Florida Tech help get you to where you are today?
The resilience required to juggle an engineering major while playing college sports was one of the most challenging aspects of my college career. This experience profoundly shaped me as I transitioned into the workforce, teaching me the value of balancing multiple facets of life simultaneously. It’s a quality that has set me apart, allowing me to lead not by defining myself solely by my profession, but by the unique experience I bring to every interaction. Whether we’re collaborating, doing business, or building something special together, I aim to make our partnership memorable and impactful.
What is your favorite Florida Tech memory?
Basketball: The thrill of hitting game-winning shots and the exhilaration of winning a conference championship were unforgettable highlights of my basketball career at Florida Tech. Those moments of intense competition and victory will forever be some of my most cherished memories. Engineering: Representing Florida Tech at Drexel University in the ASCE National Competition concrete canoe race was an incredible experience. Competing alongside my peers and showcasing my athletic skills on a national engineering stage was a true testament to the education and opportunities I received. It was one of the most exciting and rewarding moments of my academic journey.
Was there a mentor or professor who had a big impact on you personally and/or professionally?
Coach John Reynolds was instrumental in shaping not only my basketball career but also my personal development. His leadership and unwavering dedication to the team were unmatched. Coach Reynolds didn’t just focus on winning games; he emphasized the importance of discipline, teamwork, and resilience—qualities that have stayed with me long after my playing days. He had a unique ability to push each player to reach their fullest potential, both on and off the court, and his belief in me gave me the confidence to excel in everything I pursued.
