What career or personal update would you like to give to your fellow Florida Tech Panthers alumni?

My career has grown considerably since I graduated from Florida Tech. My first job was at Florida Tech as an Adjunct Faculty soon after my graduation. After this, life took me to various universities, and I am proud to be affiliated with amongst world top ranking universities, showed my mettle through hard work, innovative ideas and dedication to my job and students. Few of my career updates are listed below: 1. Presently, I am teaching Aerospace Engineering graduate students at William E. Boeing Department of Aeronautics & Astronautics, University of Washington, which is ranked no. 18 in the world 2. Promotion to Associate Professor at Texas A&M University in 2023. 3. Authored a textbook in Fluid Mechanics

How did your time at Florida Tech help get you to where you are today?

Florida Tech taught me hard work and perseverance. This helped me a lot as I am always a superstar at all my jobs. With new ideas and innovative approaches to my work, combined with, hard work and perseverance, I have been able to make good name for myself at my job and amongst my students.

What is your favorite Florida Tech memory?

My fondest memories are of the graduation commencements when I graduated with my Masters and PhD degrees.

Was there a mentor or professor who had a big impact on you personally and/or professionally?

Dr. Daniel R. Kirk had a professional impact on me. I think I learned a great deal from Dr. Kirk in terms of hard work and dedication to my field.

Please share any advice you have for current Florida Tech students.

I would like to advice to the current students of Florida Tech to always work hard and never give up. There are no short cuts in life. People who look for short cuts do not last forever.
