Bio
Michael John Foster (AEA) a Liberty University alumnus, c/o ‘99, has a doctorate in voice performance from the University of Illinois where he studied with Grammy-winning, Metropolitan Opera baritone Nathan Gunn. Michael performs both musical theatre and opera. Notable musical theatre roles include Gaston in Beauty and the Beast for the Walt Disney Company, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, and Smudge in Forever Plaid: Plaid Tidings. In the Classical music realm, Michael has performed roles such as Figaro in the Marriage Of Figaro and Sid in Albert Herring, but is most proud of performing as the soloist for the east coast premiere of Letters From Lincoln by Michael Daugherty following its debut with Thomas Hampson.
