Evette Berardi-Cox, MS, BCBA, LBA-MO, KPA-CTP

Bio

Evette Berardi-Cox graduated from Florida Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology in 2006, and a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2009. Upon graduating she became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and joined ABA Technologies, Inc working as a Curriculum Specialist for the ABA online program.She moved out west and spent years practicing ABA with various client populations in various settings in Oklahoma and Missouri. She mainly served adults and teens with behavioral problems, criminal offenses, dual diagnoses (such as schizophrenia and bipolar) and other developmental disabilities. She gained experience leading behavioral teams in a state hospital, a crisis unit, group homes, schools and daycare settings. She also provided in-home ABA services for a state funded early intervention program for children with Autism and other developmental delays.

Evette has experience working directly with clients and conducting behavioral assessments, writing skill-acquisition programs and behavior plans, supervising behavior technicians, creating and conducting staff and parent trainings, working on interdisciplinary teams, and reviewing behavior plans and human rights issues on Human Rights and Behavior Plan Review Committees.

Evette has always had a special interest in animals, and became a certified clicker trainer, KPA-CTP, in 2020. She had worked at SeaWorld throughout her college years, and in recent years has again been working in a zoological setting where she has been making efforts to incorporate the principles of ABA into animal care.
