Emily Ferris, Ph.D., BCBA

Bio

Dr. Ferris received her bachelor's in psychology from the University of Connecticut, her master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Saint Joseph, and her Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Ferris has a wide range of clinical experience including work in school, home, clinic, and hospital settings. She has worked across a variety of populations, and has experience in early intervention, skill acquisition, verbal behavior, severe challenging behavior, behavior reduction, and the functional analysis of behavior. Dr. Ferris’s current research interests include the experimental analysis of behavior, virtual reality as a teaching environment, machine learning, treatment relapse, generalization, and reactivity. Her hobbies include spending time outside, crocheting, thrifting, and playing video games.
