With F.I.T. as his alma mater, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Ragnar can look back to many years of experience in top executive positions of well-reputed multinational insurance and reinsurance companies as well as entrepreneurial and management experience related to international marketing and branding consulting activities, in addition to sourcing and construction machinery projects and businesses.

Ragnar, who lives in Norway, is known for his trans-national background, having lived in 7 countries and established successful business relationships in more than 50 countries. His native-level fluency in various languages, and advanced or working knowledge in others, have been key assets in helping him create and nurture these international relationships. He is currently engaged in research and writing projects. He has over the years also enjoyed being an occasional lecturer in congresses or in special management-related courses and is also an occasional writer on various topics, mostly related to marketing, economic, or social issues.
