Summerpal Kahlon
Bio
Summerpal Kahlon, MD, MS has held numerous positions in healthcare and health information technology fields encompassing strategy and business development, innovation, services, operations, and executive leadership at multi-billion dollar-revenue organizations including McKesson, Oracle, Steward Health Care, and Change Healthcare (now UnitedHealth Group/Optum). He has a history of product conception, development, launch, and growth across the spectrum of healthcare. In addition, he has served on a number of boards and committees for non-profit groups, professional societies, trade associations, standards bodies, and government entities over the years.
He is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases, continuing to practice medicine locally in Florida with the Veterans Health Administration. A graduate of Case Western Reserve University, the University of Alabama School of Medicine, and University of Central Florida, Dr. Kahlon holds degrees in economics, medicine, and health informatics while actively pursuing new knowledge as an avowed lifelong learner.
