October – Domestic/Relationship Violence Awareness Month (DVAM)
The month of October is nationally recognized as Domestic/Relationship Violence Awareness month which aims to raise awareness of the societal issue of domestic violence (including dating, intimate partner, and relationship violence) and educate individuals on the red flags of unhealthy and abusive relationships. Relationship and dating abuse impact many college students and fall under the umbrella of “domestic violence” or “DV.”

January - National Stalking Awareness Month (NSAM)
The month of January is National Stalking Awareness Month, an annual call to action to recognize and respond to the serious crime of stalking so you can learn to help yourself or a friend.

April - Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM)
In April of 2001, the U.S. began to nationally observe the month of April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. SAAM is an annual campaign to raise public awareness about sexual assault and educate communities and individuals on how to prevent sexual violence.
