Professional Experience
Dr. Mieczkowski has taught at five colleges and universities. Before coming to Florida Tech, he was Professor and History Department Chair at New York's Dowling College until its 2016 closure. He has done extensive work for the Educational Testing Service, chairing the College Level Equivalency Program (CLEP) Test Development Committee and grading the Advanced Placement U.S. History Exam. In the latter capacity, he served as an Exam Leader and a Test Development Contributor. He also worked as a Writing Fellow for Oxford University Press and has contributed more than forty biographies to The American National Biography.
