Sanjay leads the Americas team dedicated to helping clients create, shape and manage the future of work by enhancing the performance of their workplaces, real estate portfolios and people.

As part of a thriving global business supporting enterprise clients, his team across the U.S., Canada and Latin America innovates and delivers a full suite of products and services that blend human, digital and experiential elements to build, manage and improve spaces that transform how people work every day. Together with the team, Sanjay helps corporates and public institutions create and maintain safer, more sustainable and more inspiring environments that drive innovation, and ultimately advance their purpose and enable transformation. They do this by building diverse teams and an inclusive culture that emphasizes JLL’s values of teamwork, ethics and excellence.

Sanjay is also a member of JLL’s Americas Executive Committee, which sets the direction and strategy for JLL in the region.

Experience

For 25 years, Sanjay has helped large, global businesses leverage technology to achieve their ambitions. He has deep expertise in complex businesses, transformational change and the development of disruptive technologies.

Sanjay joined JLL in 2018 from IBM, where he ran the Cloud Consulting Services business. Prior to that, he was Chief Information Officer and Group Vice President of Strategic Planning for Johnson Controls Automotive. He has also held roles as a Partner for PwC and Vice President for IBM Global Strategy.

Education and Affiliations

Sanjay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering, a master of science degree in management systems and a doctorate in management. He currently serves on the board of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs.

Outside of JLL, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys golf, is a hiker and considers high-altitude hiking in the Himalayas as one of his greatest adventures.
