Mary Margaret Garza
Bio
Originally a northeasterner, Margaret attended college at Temple University and received her Ph.D. in Industrial Organizational Psychology in 2014 from Florida Tech.
Margaret spent ten years as a government contractor, assisting the DoD measure and understand organizational climate for preventing sexual assault and sexual harassment within the Armed Forces. Additionally, she assisted the DoD in optimizing their mission readiness and capabilities by promoting human dignity through equity education, diversity, cultural competency, research, and consultation worldwide.
Currently, Margaret leads a team of People Scientists at Culture Amp. Additionally, she assists organizations as a thought partner to ensure their listening strategies are robust and practical. She translates survey results into actionable narratives that allow executive leaders to understand, accept, and act on employee feedback.
While speaking science to business leaders is her passion, Margaret also enjoys teaching undergraduate psychology students online at Florida Tech and IO Master’s degree students at Bellevue.
