Shelley LaRose-Arken, BS ’91 and Lawrence Arken

Bio

Shelley and Larry are parents to Dylan Arken who began Florida Tech in 2022 and is currently majoring in Aeronautical Science with Flight. Shelley is the Commissioner of Long Island MacArthur Airport in Islip, NY. She is also an alumni of Florida Tech and earned her degree in Aviation Management/Flight Technology in 1991. Larry is a pilot for American Airlines. The family lives in Greenlawn, NY.
