Welcome to the Panther Wellness Calendar and Events Page! As directed by Florida Tech's Wellness Committee, our goals are to:

Engage employees in activities that positively affect their sense of well-being. Educate employees on health and wellness topics. Provide tools to empower employees and their families to obtain the best outcomes for their health care needs. Personify Health Registration Instructions: To join Personify Health, log in to your My Health Toolkit account and select Wellness, then Personify Health to enroll. Register for Personify Health through the website before downloading the App.  Once you are registered, you may access Personify Health through the App.  Remember to complete the Personal Health Assessment to unlock all your rewards.

Garden Meditation - Every Wednesday at Noon

Every Wednesday, Evans Library hosts a meditation. Please bring a yoga mat, towel or meditation pillow. On-site Strive/Personify Health Reward of $10 available to faculty, staff, and spouses on Florida Tech's medical plan who complete 50% of available sessions over the Spring Semester. The Gazebo in the Botanical Gardens, every Wednesday, from noon to 12:30 PM until further notice.  

Wednesday Walking Club - Every Wednesday at 5:15 PM

Join the Wednesday Walking Club for a 30-minute walk on Florida Tech’s beautiful campus. An On-Site Strive/Personify Health $10 Reward is available for eligible employees and spouses on Florida Tech’s Medical Plan who register through Engage, sign the Waiver, and complete 50% of available sessions from Feb 26 through May 7.

President’s Walking Club - Every Friday at Noon

Join us for a weekly walk for 30 minutes on Florida Tech's beautiful campus. Strive On-Site $10 Reward available for eligible employees on Florida Tech’s Medical Plan who 1. Register through Engage. 2. Sign the Waiver. 3. Complete 50% of available sessions from January 31 through April 11, 2025. The Waiver form will be sent to those who register through Engage.

Learn the basics of Medicare and the services provided by SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) an arm of the Florida Department of Elder Affairs. Register through Engage

Mar 25 – Retirement Planning with PersonalSAGE

Florida Tech is excited to offer an educational seminar to help you learn more about retirement planning. This session, hosted by SageView Advisory Group, will explore various income sources and essential expenses to consider as you approach retirement. We’ll also discuss effective withdrawal strategies and valuable tips for ensuring your savings last throughout your retirement years. Finally, we’ll cover the fundamentals of estate planning to help you communicate your wishes clearly and effectively. Attendees will receive a light lunch and will be entered for a raffle prize. Kindly register with Engage to avoid missing out on this informative event.

April 10 – Brevard Corporate 5K Run/Walk 

Join Florida Tech's Team and have a great time with co-workers, family and friends. Earn $10 onsite Event Personify Health Rewards for eligible employees and spouses on Florida Tech's Medical Plan. Cost: $35.00 plus processing fee (The first 30 Florida Tech staff/faculty eligible for $10.00 discount.  Students, spouses and friends are welcome to join the team but are not eligible for the discount.)  Registration fee increases to $40.00 plus processing fee effective 3/31/2025.  For more information, go to Engage
