Development of Survey

• Modeled after Harvard Pulse Survey and University of Virginia’s Climate Survey.
• Purposely short and based on key indicators of belonging and engagement which reveal perceptions of being seen, heard, listened to, respected, valued, belonging, and psychological safety.
• Contains 12 questions assessing Florida Tech’s climate and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.
• All answers are anonymous (i.e., identifying information will not be collected) throughout the survey process.
• Participation in the survey is voluntary, and respondents can decline to answer any question by selecting the Prefer Not to Answer
• Results of the survey will be aggregated and shared across the Florida Tech community. Any actions taken in response to the survey will be transparently communicated with stakeholders.
