About the Panther Card

New students are issued their Panther Card as part of Orientation. If you have been admitted to Florida Tech and would like to upload your ID photo prior to orientation, you may do so via the Admitted Student Portal.

New employees are issued their Panther Card as part of onboarding. If you have been hired and have a TRACKS account already assigned to you, you may upload an ID photo via the Online Photo Submission Portal.  Alternately, new employees may visit the Access Control Office to take their photo and obtain a Panther Card.

Florida Tech affiliates should visit the Access Control Office to take their photo and obtain a Panther Card upon beginning work for the university.

Any time a replacement Panther Card is needed, please visit the Access Control Office for assistance.

About Panther Mobile – NEW!

Florida Tech has launched the exciting experience of adding your Panther Card to your mobile device!  Panther Mobile is a mobile alternative to carrying a physical Panther Card, offering the convenience of digital access on your iPhone, Apple Watch, or Android phone.

With Panther Mobile, students, faculty, and staff can use their mobile device to access campus buildings, make purchases at dining locations and vending machines (coming soon), release copies from printers – anywhere your physical Panther Card is used. Simply hold your mobile device at the same reader where you use your Panther Card, without unlocking the mobile device or opening an app!

Cardholders can also view meal plans, FlexCredit, and Panther Cash balances at-a-glance on Panther Mobile.

Save a lot of time by uploading a photo for your Panther Card now (instead of waiting in line to do so during orientation). Upon your photo’s approval, your Panther Card will be printed and ready when you arrive on campus.

Photo Upload Guidelines:

  • Eyeglasses, if required, should be worn.
