Overview
Panther Mobile works in place of your physical Panther Card and is available on your iPhone, Apple Watch, or both.
No, participation in Panther Mobile is voluntary at this time. Panther Card users who do not elect to use Panther Mobile may continue using their card as normal.
You can use Panther Mobile on one eligible iPhone or up to two eligible Apple devices (one iPhone and one Apple Watch) that are signed into iCloud with the same Apple ID.
To reactivate your physical Panther Card, contact the Access Control Office to request that your Panther Mobile be disabled and your Panther Card be re-enabled.

Getting Started
You will need an Apple device with the following:
- iPhone SE, iPhone 7 or later devices running iOS 12 or later
- Apple Watch series 1 and later devices running Watch OS 5 or later
- Apple Wallet set up with at least one card already added
Note: You cannot use Panther Mobile on both an Android and Apple device
- On your device, go to Settings > General > Software Updates
- If your device is runnign iOS 12.2 or later, you're ready to use Panther Mobile
- If not, tap Download > Install. You may need to enter your passcode to start the update
- Once the download is complete, follow the instructions on your phone to finish upgrading to the latest version of iOS.
- The Series # for your Apple Watch can be found on the back of the Watch
- Note: The Series 0 watch is not eligible for this program
- Instructions for verifying and/or updating your Apple Watch software version can be found here
To get started, ensure you have an iPhone SE, iPhone 7 or later device that runs iOS 12 or later.

You can also use Panther Mobile on Apple Watch Series 1 and later devices running Watch OS 5 or later – but setup needs to take place on your iPhone.
You will also need to have an approved Panther Card photo. If you have not done so yet, upload a photo. If you do not already have an approved Panther Card photo or upload a new photo, you will not be able to use Panther Mobile.
1. Ensure you are signed into iCloud with your Apple ID
2. Download the GET Mobile app from the App Store
3. Open the GET Mobile app on your iPhone
4. Choose Florida Tech from the dropdown list
5. Login using your TRACKS username and password, and then complete the DUO authentication
6. Choose either Turn On Face ID or I'll Do It Later
7. Set a 4-digit PIN for Panther Mobile, then confirm the PIN
8. Enter your Florida Tech email address and phone number
9. Tap the Add to Apple Wallet icon button, then select whether you would like to add Panther Mobile to your iPhone or Apple Watch
a. You may add Panther Mobile to both device types if you wish
b. If you want to authorize your Apple Watch, go back through the Add to Apple Wallet process again once your iPhone is authorized
10. Agree to the Terms and Conditions
11. Your Panther Mobile Card will now be provisioned in your Apple Wallet
Note: Do not delete the GET Mobile app. If you delete the GET Mobile app, the Panther Mobile usage functions will be removed as well.

Using Panther Mobile
To use Panther Mobile at a reader, hold the top of the iPhone to the reader or the face of the Watch near the reader, within at least 1 inch.
You do not have to bring anything up on your device; the screen can be dark or asleep.
The device will automatically bring the Panther Mobile credential from your Apple Wallet.
For door access, the card reader will beep and the light at the top will turn green once the door has been successfully unlocked.
You may need to be signed into iCloud for full functionality.
Panther Mobile features the Express Mode transaction experience. You should simply approach a card reader with a dark screen on your iPhone or Apple Watch without needing to authenticate via Face ID or Touch ID. Express Mode enables an extremely fast, seamless experience as you move through campus.
When you add Panther Mobile to Apple Wallet, Express Mode is turned on by default. If you don’t want to use Express Mode, you can turn it off. To turn it off, open Wallet, tap your Panther Mobile Card, tap the info button in the top right, and tap the Express Mode on/off button.
To access Panther Mobile after you add it to Apple Wallet:
1. Open the Apple Wallet app
2. Swipe up to view your stored cards
3. Tap your Panther Mobile Card
You can also find your Panther Mobile Card in your iPhone settings. Tap Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Other Cards
Lastly, you can manage Panther Mobile from an internet browser.
Yes, you can view your balances within Apple Wallet or within the GET Mobile app.
To view Meal Plans, FlexCredit, or Panther Cash balances within Apple Wallet:
1. Bring up your Panther Mobile card within the Wallet, or open the Wallet app
2. Tap on the Panther Mobile card
3. Available balances will be displayed on the front of the Panther Mobile card
To view Meal Plans, FlexCredit, or Panther Cash balances within the GET Mobile app:
1. Open the GET Mobile app
2. Log in
3. Navigate to the Accounts section to view your balances and recent transactions
Yes, you can view your 90x number (your Student or Employee ID number) within the Apple Wallet app.
To view your 90x number (your Student or Employee ID number) for verification purposes:
1. Open the Apple Wallet app
2. Tap on the Panther Mobile card
3. Tap the Information icon
4. Your 90x number (your Student or Employee ID number) will display under your name
Managing Panther Mobile
Follow these steps:
1. Open the GET Mobile app on the iPhone and sign in
2. Tap Settings
3. Tap Unlink Mobile Wallet ID
4. Tap Unlink button when prompted
5. Go to the Settings app on your iPhone. You can do this on the old or new device
6. Click on your name on the top of the menu
7. Scroll down to the list of devices and select the OLD iPhone or Apple Watch (you can see the model version under the name)
8. Scroll down and select Remove Items
9. Once the card is removed (this may take a moment), close/reopen the GET app and you will be able to add your Panther Mobile card to your new device following the setup instructions in the Getting Started section above
Follow these steps:
1. Open the GET Mobile app on the iPhone and sign in
2. Tap Settings
3. Tap Unlink Mobile Wallet ID
4. Tap Unlink button when prompted
Your other device will continue to work; however, you should use the Find My app (iPhone) or Find Devices app (Apple Watch) to mark the missing device as lost until it is found. Visit Apple’s If your iPhone or iPad is lost or stolen article to mark the device as lost via iCloud.com.

You can reactivate Panther Mobile by contacting the Access Control Office
No. As long as your enrollment status meets our eligibility requirements, the devices you have enrolled in will remain current. For security purposes, we may deactivate devices that have not been used for an extended period. You can re-enroll those devices whenever you wish.
Yes, you can remove your credential from Apple Wallet and re-add it when you return.*
To remove your Panther Mobile ID, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to the Apple Wallet app
2. Tap the information icon in the top-right corner
3. Scroll to the bottom
4. Select Remove Card
To remove your Apple Watch credential, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to the Watch app on your Phone
2. Scroll to the bottom and select Wallet & Apple Pay
3. Tap on your Panther Mobile ID, scroll to the bottom and select Remove Card
*To add credentials back onto your device, you must meet eligibility requirements and not have exceeded the device limit for your Panther Mobile ID.
If you are using Express Mode, you do not have to do anything. If you are not using Express Mode, you will have to authenticate each time you access your phone. This is a user security preference.
Note: Express Mode is turned on by default.
No, you will need to ensure that your device is charged to utilize Panther Mobile.
On iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, and later versions, you can use power reserve with Panther Mobile when low on battery. Panther Mobile is available for up to five hours when Express Mode is enabled, and the device’s battery needs to be charged.
Panther Mobile can be used even if your iPhone or Apple Watch does not have network connectivity, as it is stored on your device.
Troubleshooting Panther Mobile
Please try the following:

Ensure you are presenting Panther Mobile properly at the reader – straight up and down typically works best.

If you are presenting Panther Mobile properly at the reader, but the reader is not reacting:
1. Open the GET Mobile app
2. Log in if not already logged in

Some devices require the user to log-in to the GET Mobile app at least once daily in order to utilize Panther Mobile
3. Try to present Panther Mobile to the reader again

Ensure you have properly provisioned Panther Mobile.
1. Open the GET Mobile app
2. Verify the status of Panther Mobile reads “ID added to Apple Wallet”

If Panther Mobile is not set-up, the status will read “Add to Apple Wallet”
3. Follow the steps above in the “How do I get Panther Mobile on my Apple device(s)?” section to properly provision Panther Mobile.
