Membership in The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is earned. The Society's mission is "to recognize and promote academic excellence in all fields of higher education and to engage the community of scholars in service to others." Admission is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by the local chapter. The governing bylaws of the Society set extremely high standards for membership. Members are elected from the top 7.5 percent of last-term juniors and the top 10 percent of seniors. Graduate and professional students are elected from the top 10 percent of their class or hold a cumulative 3.85 GPA or higher. Additionally, the chapter elects outstanding faculty, professional staff, and alumni who achieved scholarly distinction.
This list of Florida Institute of Technology Phi Kappa Phi Inductees was prepared before final confirmation of membership from Phi Kappa Phi Headquarters and inclusion herein does not constitute evidence of membership. While every effort is made to confirm prior to the printing deadline, final action to ensure and accurate listing of the names of all persons qualified for membership cannot always be taken before the program goes to print. Therefore, errors are possible, and the listing of a name in this program should not be interpreted as an indication that the person is in fact a member of Phi Kappa Phi. Conversely, the absence of a student’s name from this list does not necessarily mean that the person was not inducted.
