Why Choose Florida Tech for Business Administration?

In the Florida Tech MBA, you'll gain essential business skills and a competitive edge through hands-on experience in contemporary management strategies and best practices. The dynamic program culture promotes creativity, leadership, teamwork and ethical decision-making in a learning environment where everyone can thrive, creating a strong foundation for career success.

In the MBA program, you will build your skill in analyzing information objectively and making reasoned judgments. You'll evaluate evidence, identify logical connections and deepen your understanding of the implications of different perspectives.

Putting theory into practice, you will analyze business cases and related ethical issues, explore new venture development, conduct financial analysis of publicly traded firms and develop strategic plans for multinational corporations.

This experience will help you become adept at solving complex problems and develop you into a more effective leader.

Collaboration is a key focus throughout the MBA program.

You’ll explore how both individual and group behaviors influence the internal dynamics of organizations, gaining insights into the complexities of team interactions and organizational culture. Through coursework and practical experiences, you'll learn to navigate these dynamics effectively, fostering productive teamwork and enhancing overall organizational performance.

By understanding and leveraging the nuances of collaborative processes, you'll be equipped to build and lead high-performing teams, drive collective success and address challenges in a way that maximizes the strengths of the perspectives and skills of all involved.

While many MBA students have undergraduate degrees in business, our program also attracts those from other academic fields.

For students without a business background, a sequence of two foundational courses provides essential business knowledge, equipping you with the skills needed to excel in the MBA program.

This ensures that—regardless of the field of your bachelor's degree—you can gain the competitive edge of a quality graduate education tailored to your goals.

At the Bisk College of Business, we place a strong emphasis on leadership, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit, ensuring that these values are deeply integrated into your MBA experience.

Our program offers a wealth of opportunities to cultivate skills in these areas, including participating in intercollegiate competitions, engaging in market research projects, conducting in-depth financial analyses and gaining hands-on management consulting experience.

These activities bridge the gap between theory and practice, allowing you to apply the methodologies and techniques learned in the classroom to tackle real-world business challenges.

You’ll develop practical skills and insights that will prepare you to drive innovation and lead effectively in today’s dynamic business environment.
