Student Advising

Students in the College of Psychology and Liberal Arts enjoy a one-on-one mentoring relationship with their advisor and our small classes afford direct contact with professors. You will be making a lot of important decisions about your life and career while in college, and your advisor is here to help you achieve your educational, career and personal goals.

In the College of Psychology and Liberal Arts, academic advising is a student-centered process in which students seek and receive guidance on academic program planning in a collaborative environment. Students in all majors are assigned an academic advisor. At Florida Tech we recognize that every student is different; our academic advising process helps each student understand their options, relative to their personal interests and goals and get the most out of their education. Successful college students take responsibility for their education, our COPLA academic advisors are here to help you navigate the path
