In order to register for the Intern Housing Program, interns must provide proof of enrollment at their current institution in the form of an enrollment verification letter from the institution's registrar. Please use the information and example language below to ensure the enrollment verification letter from your institution meets our requirements. 

Enrollment Verification Letter Requirements

The enrollment verification letter from your institution's registrar should include the following:

  • The institution's official letterhead
  • Date
  • Subject/Title: "Re: Enrollment Verification"
  • Your name and ID number
  • A statement indicating your name, degree and major, the dates for which you are enrolled and your expected graduation date. 
  • Registrar's name and signature
  • Registrar's office contact information

Enrollment Verification Letter Example Language

Re: Enrollment Verification
Student: [Your Name]
Student ID: [Your ID Number]

To Whom It May Concern:

Please accept this document as verification that [STUDENT NAME] is attending as a full-time student at [COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY], pursuing a [DEGREE and MAJOR].

The student is enrolled for the [Fall 2025] semester which runs from [August 19, 2025 to December 14, 2025].

The student’s expected graduation date is [DATE].
