Bio

Meet Ava! She is a Junior studying Biomedical Engineering in the College of Engineering & Science. Originally from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, she chose Florida Tech because she wanted to experience the new Gordon L. Nelson Health Sciences Building, and her brother attended Florida Tech for Aviation. As a President’s Ambassador, she hopes to give back to the community and refine her leadership skills. After graduation, she plans to get a master’s degree in biomedical engineering through the FastTrack program and work at a neuroscience company in New England doing a form of data analysis.

Her favorite thing about Florida Tech: “When the therapy dogs come by during exam season or mid-semester.”
