Anna Grimm
Bio
Meet Anna! She is a FastTrack student in the College of Engineering and Science completing her Bachelor’s in Pre-Medical Chemistry this fall, and her graduate degree in Biochemistry next spring. Originally from Kannapolis, North Carolina, she chose Florida Tech after experiencing a great campus tour experience. She was impressed with the opportunity to meet professors in her desired major during the tour, the campus dining experience, and the student involvement opportunities. The campus community made her feel welcomed and at home from her very first day (and even on her tour!). As a President’s Ambassador, she hopes to be the voice of the student experience and promote Florida Tech while advocating for the continued growth of our campus. After graduation, she plans to take a gap year to continue her internship in Germany. She might pursue a certificate or another master's before pursuing an MD-PhD with a specialization in pediatrics or maternal-fetal health.
Her favorite thing about Florida Tech: “The rocket launch culture. We all agree to stop what we're doing and go see the rocket launch (or any other super cool space thing happening in the sky).”
Her involvement at Florida Tech: Relay For Life (Committee Chair), Student Government Association (Dining Liaison), Alpha Phi, Order of Omega, Pre-Med Club, Phi Eta Sigma, Tennis Club, Forensic Psychology Club, Research
Her involvement off-campus: Tutor with The Sunshine Method
