Bio

Meet Alita! She is a PhD student studying Human-Centered Design in the College of Engineering & Science. Originally, from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, she chose Florida Tech because of its location on the Space Coast and she wanted to study Aerospace Engineering. As a President’s Ambassador, she hopes to enhance the university experience by improving academic opportunities and encouraging more students to choose Florida Tech for their education. After graduation, she plans to apply for jobs in the UAE space agency and become an astronaut to make her vision of “Space for All” a reality!
