Edwin A. Link Building

The Link Building, located in the center of campus near the Evans Library, is named for Edwin A. Link, inventor of the Link Trainer and co-founder of the Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution. A display of an original Link Trainer can be seen in the College of Aeronautics’ Skurla Hall, a two-minute walk from the Link Building.

The Link Building is home to many labs including the oceanography, coastal engineering, chemistry, benthic ecology and environmental laboratories. Just outside the building, on the research lawn, you will find a mobile weather station which is used to collect live data during storms.
